Stevenson’s ‘Travels in the Cevennes with a donkey <\/strong>has recently been published in paperback (Livres de Poche) with a new translation by Jean-Pierre Naugrette whose passionate introduction to the new translation entices the reader to rediscover this work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well known connaisseur of Robert Louis Stevenson, Jean-Pierre Naugrette has translated several of Stevenson’s works: The Master of Ballantrae, A child’s Garden of Verse, The Ebb-Tide, The strange case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde….<\/p>\n\n\n\n
