Stevenson Adventures recently took a group of teenagers from inner city Glasgow on a day walk and also a 2 night expedition into the Scottish hills. The group had never attempted anything like this before and so it was quite a challenge for them with both the walking and the camping.

  

However they took to it, despite the midges and the heavy rucksacks. One thing they really enjoyed was swimming in the mountain river and despite the cold water several folk managed three swims during the day – who says our young folk are soft these days!

The group pitched their own tents and also cooked their own food, in addition to the lots of sweets that they had brought. The whole experience was very helpful to them all and should prove beneficial to their personal development.
