The Open Way project featured at a recent conference “Digital and Physical Accessibility in the Cultural Routes” held in Weissenfels, Germany from 16th – 18th October 2018 at which our network was represented by Ian Logan fromThe Stevenson Way. The Open Way project aims to help visually impaire people enjoy hiking trails thanks to a smartphone GPS application based on a guidance technique adapted to “blind navigation”.
