The association Robert Louis Stevenson de Barbizon à Grez, the headquarters of which are located in the village of Recloses approximately mid way between Barbizon and Grez-sur-Loing, organises hikes in the forest linked to the trail followed by Stevenson through the forest and recounted in “Forest Notes” and “Treasure of Franchard”; educational activities aimed at increasing awareness of the life and works of RLS amongst young people (treasure hunts, shows for primary school children) stands at bookfairs; lectures and publications.
